Ideological Controversy; finding the truth

            Introduction

            This paper offers a critical insight/perspective on Howard Zinn’s article entitled “Speaking Truth to Power with Books”. We were known about Howard  Zinn background he is a one of obey Jewish, and the uniquely from Jewish religion is the jewish not just a religion but jewish is which one of ideology life in the world, although jewish has many bad seem from people before, like Adolf Hitler said “ The black-haired Jewish youth lies in wait for hours on end, satanically glaring at and spying on the unsuspicious girl whom he plans to seduce, adult erating her blood and removing her from the bosom of her own people. The Jew uses every possible means to undermine the racial foundations of a subjugated people. (Book 1 Chap 11)-Adolf Hitler (Mein Kampf) “ .  it is a realize from people the jewish are dangerous and wicked. The second, also this ideology (jewish) has a bad story with us as muslim (Islam), very long time ago we has many problem between us with them from Isa A.S, Muhammad SAW A.S until now,  in the fact Allah said on the holy Qur’an verse Al – Baqarah  Ayat 120 “Never will the Jews or the Christians be satisfied with thee unless thou follow their form of religion. Say: "The Guidance of Allah,-that is the (only) Guidance." Wert thou to follow their desires after the knowledge which hath reached thee, then would’t thou find neither Protector nor helper against Allah”. for this reason in this Ayat we knew and believed, appropriated the fact and data was tell us Howard Zinn is jewish, but happen to him (zinn) is a writer, is more dangerous because him mine will share using what him wrote,  for example he was writing about A People’s History of the United States. But he just blamed some fact, but the biggest fact he was hided, the simple reason for this case is he a obey Jewish, in here has war ideology between Jewish and Islam for finding the truth.             There are several basic points that Zinn wrote on Columbus, whom we ridicolusly percieve as the hero/the discoverer of America. But we have to know Howard Zinn background, why zinn wrote like that? How his ideology influence entered on his wrote, this is a fact and data about zinn, first he is the son of Jewish immigrants, Edward Zinn, a waiter, and Jennie (Rabinowitz) Zinn, a housewife, was born in Brooklyn in 1922. Zinn later recalled: “We moved a lot, one step ahead of the landlord. I lived in all of Brooklyn’s best slums.” "There's no such thing as a whole story; every story is incomplete. My idea was the orthodox view point has already been done a thousand times." Noam Chomsky has argued that the book had a tremendous impact on the public: "I can't think of anyone who had such a powerful and benign influence. His historical work changed the way millions of people saw the past."

            There are four points on Columbus that are neglected in Zinn’s article.  First, Howard Zinn has been a bad track record on what him wrote, a lot of resistance itself against government such as Iraq war, Vietnam war, arguing with the FBI and others  case, he has debate not just with the Muslims only about Islam his observations which removes traces of the first landing on the American continent, he has been much debated with American people like the Mr. Samuel Elliot Morrison and the following one news after he (Zinn) died:

            Controversies of  howard zinn with American people: “The Associated Press (AP) revealed in July 2013 that former Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels asked for assurance from his education advisors that Zinn's works were not taught in K-12 public schools in the state. The AP had gained access to Daniels' emails under a Freedom of Information Act request. Daniels also wanted a "cleanup" of K-12 professional development courses to eliminate "propaganda and highlight (if there is any) the more useful offerings."

            This terrible anti-American academic has finally passed away. The obits and commentaries mentioned his book, ‘A People’s History of the United States,’ is the ‘textbook of choice in high schools and colleges around the country.’ It is a truly execrable, anti-factual piece of disinformation that misstates American history on every page. Can someone assure me that it is not in use anywhere in Indiana? If it is, how do we get rid of it before more young people are force-fed a totally false version of our history?

            At the time the emails were released, Daniels was serving as the president of Purdue University. In response, 90 out of roughly 1,800 Purdue professors issued an open letter expressing their concern. Included in the letter were some of the staff's most prominent historians. Because of Daniels' attempt to suppress Zinn's book, the former governor was accused of censorship, to which Daniels responded by saying that his views were misrepresented, and that if Zinn were alive and a member of the Purdue faculty, he would defend his free speech rights and right to publish.

            David J. Bobb supported Daniels' stand on Zinn by penning an opinion piece in the online Wall Street Journal, where he asserted Zinn was not a real historian, but a Marxist-propagandist.[85] However, Zinn has consistently expressed his personal political ideology to be aligned with anarchist thought, and has conceded that he is "something" of a Marxist being that "people have so many different notions about what a Marxist is.”Ironically, the controversy led to an upswing in interest in Zinn's A People's History of the United States and other writings.”

Second, the weakness from howard zinn, why he likes looked enemy of American government? Because, first, An observer must be able to observe the behavior  from the biggest until the smallest, because it could be considered insignificant behavior is precisely, because the behavior is very important. We as a writer must completly what we observe. Third, on howard Zinn book his not addicted more references, the fact in outside think are howard zinn a layer, he just imagine, he ouf and etc.  This is a fact was cut by Howard Zinn “This is a completely factually inaccurate statement. Actually, Spain under the Moors kingdom (Muslims) was more peaceful and tolerant than anywhere else in Europe during that time. Muslims, Jews and Christians all had the right to worship as they wished (which is required by the Quran, actually, as "Religions of  The Book"), and were engaged in various mutual enterprises, including some intermarrying. It was only when the Christian Ferdinand and Isabella forced the Moors out that Jews were forced to flee or convert at sword point, that any remaining Muslims were killed, and the Inquisition became the strong muscle for the new Christian kingdom.

            In fact, there is considerable evidence that Columbus was a Catalan of Jewish ancestry.             The one who should be learning about "bias in the big picture of history" we are ignorant of the facts. I suspect (given your handle), this may be rooted in religious bias, which is an even lower form of ignorance on which to base a perspective on history, so the implications for us, we must completely the history was cut and lost, all of the project observe for finding the truth and change the error paradigm was outright.

           

            Conclusion

 

            here are two basic points that can be concluded from Zinn’s article, the truth is surely somewhere in the middle. It's important for us to remember that standards of   behavior, morals, and attitudes. Five hundred years ago were not the same as they are now, so we should not judge by today's standards. For example, human rights was not high on the Spanish agenda in 1492.  (By the same token, historians' attitudes were not the same a half-century ago when Morison wrote as they are today.) Bottom line is that some of Zinn's criticism is certainly warranted, but Zinn went overboard too. When he wrote, he was a man on a mission with his own agenda. So it's probably true that Morison whitewashed the Columbus story, but Columbus was not quite the bad guy that Zinn makes him out to be. Columbus was a remarkable person for his day and age, and we have to keep that in perspective but for us as Muslim people must has a perspective also, we belive the truth will be the showing such as Allah said on Holy Qur’an: “We will show them Our signs in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth.
